Former aide to Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, Faekah Husin is among the eight who are being sued over their failure to return the RM2.6 million in severance payments made last year.

Others are Rohani Talib, Arfa'eza Abdul Aziz, Mustapha Mohd Talib, Rahimah Kamarudin, Dr Sulaiman Masri, Abdul Halim Mohamed Yusof and Tuan Nazuri Tuan Ismail

The suit was filed in Shah Alam High Court on May 11 after the eight refused to return the money which was given out before Abdul Khalid left office, lawyer Shahir Razak told The Malaysian Insider.

Shahir who is appearing for Selangor Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI) said they are prepared to drop the suit if the eight return the money.

It was reported that the Selangor government had paid a total of RM2.6 million to the former menteri besar Khalid Ibrahim’s staff and aides before he stepped down.

It was also reported that the biggest amount was given to Faekah.
